9/7/23 – This is an original WW1 era production Snail Drum luger magazine. The magazine is a type 2 variation with an original metal dust cover. The magazine has most of the original finish intact with some very mild surface patina and rough machine marks, but minimal finish loss. The top and bottom plates are matching numbered and maker marked by Bing. Winding mechanism is fully functional, and there’s a “GERMANY” export stamp on the underside of the folding arm piece. Small Imperial proof stamp near the top of the tube / follower. Holds 32 round of 9mm.
