5/22/20 – This is an original WW1 era production snail drum luger magazine. These were often found with Artillery Lugers from WW1. The magazine comes with an original, period correct dust cover. The cover is unmarked, but in great overall condition. The magazine is maker marked “B/N”, and is matching serial numbered on the top and bottom plates. The original finish is almost entirely in tact, although there is some speckling discoloration and signs of aging throughout. Some light rust along the edges of the drum, as shown in photos. The spring is strong and fully functional, and the cranking arm functions properly as well. This is known as a type 2 snail drum magazine.
