8/8/23 – This is a minty example of a Smith and Wesson Victory Revolver sold to the commercial market. According to the included factory letter, this one was shipped on November 6th, 1943, and delivered to the Clifford Jacobs Forging Company in Champaign, Illinois. While the revolver has retained nearly all of its original parkerized finish, there are a couple very minor surface scuffs and a feint turn line. Additionally, there is some visible oxidation on the right side of the barrel that hasn’t stripped the finish. Comes with an excellent set of original matching Walnut grips, serialized on the left panel. Mint bore. Cylinder is tight and action is smooth.
