06/06/2024 – For sale is a Smith & Wesson Victory Model revolver made in 1942 with a letter from the Office of Smith & Wesson. This revolver is in an overall great condition with some minor finish loss on the cylinder and muzzle, and there’s some oxidation on the cylinder hinge arm. The bore is bright with good rifling. The left side of the frame is stamped “C.L. Gougler Mach.Co 26.” On the letter from the Office of S&W, it states this revolver was sent to C.L. Gougler Machine Company in Kent, Ohio in September 28th, 1942. The wood grips are in good condition but the bottom of the grip has edge wear and slightly discolored.
