9/21/21 – This is an excellent Smith & Wesson Pre-17 Masterpiece revolver from 1955 in an original S&W box. The gun has 96-97% of the original blue remaining, with most of the thinning on the left side of the barrel, and a standard turn line on cylinder. Matching frame, cylinder and barrel. Minty bore and grips, though right grip panel is a mismatched serial. Box is hand-numbered on bottom but also mismatched. Six inch barrel. Five screw frame design.
