11/22/19 – This is a nice, honest example of a Smith & Wesson M1917 revolver rig that was manufactured in 1918 for the U.S. Army. The gun has about 90-93% of the original blue remaining, with nearly all the finish loss on the back strap and right side of frame. Serial numbers are matching on the frame, barrel and cylinder. Barrel is marked UNITED STATES PROPERTY underneath. Right grip panel is hand numbered and matching to the gun. Flaming bomb proof on left side of frame. Mint bore. The gun comes in a very nice, original holster with 1917 date and G&K maker mark.
