1/24/22 – This is a terrific and original Smith & Wesson Model 1917 revolver with about 96% of the polished blue remaining. Minor muzzle wear on both sides of the muzzle and a visible turn line on the cylinder. Most notable area of bluing loss is on the back grip strap though. Matching numbers throughout, including frame, barrel and right grip panel. Flaming bomb and E/S21 inspector proofs on left side frame. Barrel is UNITED STATES PROPERTY marked. Smooth mechanics.
