2/4/21 – This is a rare Smith & Wesson Model 15-3 K-38 Combat Masterpiece that was manufactured in 1969 and was issued to the U.S. Air Force. Manufactured in 1968. From 1960 to 1969 the U.S. Air Force purchased a large quantity of S&W Model 15 series revolvers with 4 inch barrel, target trigger, target hammer and Magna grips, most were shipped to Warner Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, home to a U.S.A.F. logistic center, and were generally carried by security personnel. This one is in terrific, original condition with just a bit of wear on the right side of the frame, and front lower edge. The grips are original to the gun and the right panel has the matching serial. Mint bore and grips. Perfect mechanically. C&R eligible.
