1/4/22 – This is an original WW2 German Service Memory bayonet. The bayonet is in great overall condition with a custom engraved blade maker stamped by Eickhorn. The blade roughly translates to “in memory of my service” on one side and dedicated to “News Department No. 25 Bad Cannstatt” on the reverse. The blade is clean and shiny with leather stopper still present. Excellent grip panels and some mild patina on the metal fittings. Excellent scabbard and leather frog has some mild surface wear but no major damage.
