10/8/24 – This is a rare variation, early screw back style German General Assault badge from WW2. The badge is constructed of silvered zinc and features a screw-on backing made of stamped aluminum. Completely non-magnetic and retains a great amount of silvered finish. There’s natural patina and high edge wear as shown. The reverse of the badge is maker stamped by Assmann as shown. Natural patina evident on the backside as well, with a great amount of finish protected by the screw-back mount.
