6/19/24 – This is a rare, mint condition M7 Grenade launcher manufactured during WWII by the Knapp-Monarch Company for the M1 Garand rifle. These launchers were used by the US military from the end of WWII through the Korean war, and this example is in pristine condition, with the original box and wrapping mostly intact. Though it is obscured by original wrapping, the maker stamp “KM” will be visible when wrapping is removed. The launcher affixes to the end of a M1 Garand on one end and a grenade (22mm) attaches to the other. A blank cartridge is fired from the rifle, which expands gases and propels the grenade much farther than a hand-toss. The M7 could fire grenades up to 380 yards. The Knapp-Monarch Company is the rarest and most desirable maker M7 manufacturer, and this example would be nearly impossible to upgrade. The listing includes the launcher/attaching assembly itself but no spare springs.
