1/10/23 – This is a scarce Walther PP with RJ marking on front strap to denote issue to the Reich Justice Ministry. There were fewer than 5,000 of this variation produced, and this one has about 93-94% of the original, high-polish blue remaining. There is minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges and round edges of both sides of the slide. Some areas of light splotchy discoloration at the back left of the slide and around the ejection port. Some minor dulling and light patina on the grip straps. Comes with nice period-correct grips – there is a slight bulge in the left panel. Also comes with a period-correct wartime magazine that has a post-war black finger extension bottom. Mint bore.
