10/24/19 – This is an original example of a scarce Steyr Model 1908/34 that was manufactured in 1922 and later issued to the Austrian Security Police in the 1930s, which later became part of the Nazi Police in the late 1930s. The pistol has a nice profile view but notable thinning of the straps. Excellent original grips and minty bore. Frame is marked ’22’, denoting the year of manufacture. The rear strap is marked ‘SW 7489’, which is the unit marking from the Austrian Police. Sharp Austrian eagle proof is also present on left side frame.
