11/16/21 – This is a very nice example of a scarce Mauser Model 1934 issued to the Nazi military around 1940. This gun would have been produced just before the factory switched over to HSC production. These guns are fairly rare with an estimate of only ~8,000 procured by the army. This one is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 655” Nazi military acceptance proof and Nazi test eagle at the back of the left side of the frame. It comes as a rig with a scarce 1944-dated waffen-proofed black leather holster and two proper magazines. The gun has retained about 90% of its original high polish finish. The majority of the finish loss is splotchy discoloration along the right side of the slide. There is also minor wear on the high edges of the slide, around the muzzle, on the chamber, and on the tang. Comes with a very nice wood grip that has a few small bruises. The bore is shiny and mint.
