7/31/23 – This is a nice example of a scarce Mauser Model 1934 issued to the Nazi military in 1940-41. This gun would have been produced just before the factory switched over to HSC production, around 1940-1941. It is proofed on the back left side of the frame with Eagle/655 and a test-fire eagle stamp. There were only about 8,000 of these pistols issued in this way. This one comes with an original capture document that lists this pistol by serial number. The gun itself has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. The finish loss is concentrated on the left side of the gun and on the front strap. Areas of light spotty oxidation here and there, most noticeable on the left side of the gun. Fitted with a period-correct wood grip – a hairline crack along the left edge of the left side. Comes with a proper magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling for the most part, but there are a couple of areas of freckling.
