10/25/19 – This is an honest example of a 1934 Mauser that was issued to the German Army. This gun would have been produced just before the factory switched over to HSC production, around 1940 or so. It is Eagle/N proofed which helps to determine the date. It is also Nazi test proofed on the back left side of the frame and Eagle/655 proofed, indicating it was issued to the German Army. These guns are fairly rare with an estimate of only ~8,000 procured by the army. The original finish covers about 85+% of the gun in a nice high-polish finish. There are notable patches of wear on either side of the slide, trigger guard and front strap. Excellent bore. Nice original grip, with some age and handling wear but no cracks or chips.
