3/15/22 – This is a minty Springfield Armory M1922 MII that was made in the WW2-era. These were built as cadet training rifles, designed to mimic the M1903 Springfield. This particular example shows that the armory upgraded it from the MI, as the second ‘I’ was clearly added later. The parkerized finish rates at ~98%% with hardly any finish loss to mention. Minty bore and stock. Stock has just one tiny surface crack. Bolt action is buttery smooth. Handle is marked ‘NS’ and ‘M2’, and bolt is also marked ‘M2’.
