11/19/21 – This is an excellent example of a scarce, late-war Walther PP issued to the Nazi police force in 1945. The gun is all, matching, has an “ac” Walther factory code on the right side of the slide, no slide legend, and has a Nazi police “Eagle F” marking on the left side of the frame. Only about 5,000 guns were made in this configuration. This gun has retained about 96% of its original late-war bluing. Generally, there is very minor wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Some very light handling marks/scratches along the slide. There is very minor thinning and just a hint of brown patina on both grip straps. Comes with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips and a rare, late-war, “w”-marked, phosphate magazine. The bore is near-mint – shiny with very strong rifling.
