12/28/22 – This is a minty Springfield Armory M1922 MII that was made in the WW2-era. These were built as cadet training rifles, designed to mimic the M1903 Springfield. This particular example shows that the armory upgraded it as the ‘M2’ was added later. The parkerized finish rates at 95+% with a little wear around the muzzle and on the floorplate. Minty bore and stock. Bolt action is buttery smooth. Handle is marked ‘NS’ and ‘M2’, and bolt is also marked ‘M2’.
