10/29/24 – This is an excellent example of a scarce Mauser Model 1934 issued to the Nazi army during WW2. It was made around 1940. Only about 8,000 of this variation made. All matching with the proper Eagle test proof and “Eagle 655” military acceptance proof on the left side of the tang. It comes as a rig with one proper magazine and a scarce 1942-dated waffen-proofed holster – visible ink stamp on the inside. It has retained about 95% of its original high polish finish. Just minor muzzle and high edge wear with a light streak of wear on the extractor. Beautiful font strap. Fitted with an excellent period-correct wood grip. Excellent bore.
