2/4/22 – This is a scarce, early commercial Sauer 38h rig with Crown/N proof on frame. Many of these early Sauer 38h’s were attributed to the SA, though we cannot verify that for this example. This one has about 92-93% of the high-polish blue remaining, with a notable patch of bluing loss on the trigger guard and another on the bottom of the back strap. Excellent bore. Grips are in decent shape but there’s a small surface crack in the left panel and a chip in the right panel.
