4/29/20 – This is a scarce and original Colt Model 1902. It’s an interesting variation for the transition between the early front “nail-file” serrations with stub hammer, and the rear “standard” serrations with spur hammer. These were only made for a short time. Shipping date is approximately September 1906 based on data in Goddards “The Government Models”. Original finish shows obvious patina on all sides, but more actual bluing loss on the straps. All markings are still clearly visible. Bore shows some wear in the rifling but still prominent. Grips are older replacements. Magazine is factory original with considerable finish loss and speckling, but still functions properly. Mechanically in fine condition.
