11/25/24 – This is a very nice example of a BYF 41 Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1941. All matching. This one is a scarce variation of the BYF 41 with “Eagle 135” proofs instead of “Eagle 655” proofs (as the majority of these do). Its original finish rates about 95-96% with just minor high edge wear, muzzle wear, and some light freckling on the grip straps. Fitted with matching-numbered wood grips – an area of wear on the left side. Comes with an original “black widow” magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is noticeable spotty surface oxidation throughout.
