5/30/24 – This is a nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It’s a scarce variation with ‘ac 43’ marking in a single line on the slide, only found in the ‘n’ and ‘m’ serial blocks, one of about 18,000 made. All matching with the proper “Eagle 359” military proofs. This one has been completely buffed and refinished. No finish loss, but there is some minor pitting under the finish on the slide. Fitted with period-correct Walther grips and comes with a numbered but mismatched Walther magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
