3/5/24 – This is a rare, early production P.38 hard shell holster from WW2. The holster is maker stamped, 1940 dated, waffen military proof stamped, and P.38 stamped on the back leather. The maker marking is faint, but appears to read “Voegels” just above the 1940 date. Many early examples such as this are in worn, battered condition and very few are still in circulation today. This holster is great for early zero series as well as other early Walther AC variation P.38 pistols. The holster has soft leather with normal pliability and honest use wear throughout. A few light surface blemishes on the exterior leather but no major issues. The interior leather is fairly clean. All original stitching is tight and intact throughout.
