4/10/23 – This is an excellent example of a scarce “27 Code” Erma K98 issued to the Luftwaffe in 1939. The gun is entirely matching (including the wood stock), has the proper military acceptance proofs throughout, and has a Luftwaffe acceptance stamp on the butt stock. There is almost no actual finish loss, but there is light spotty oxidation covering most of the metal parts. Heavier oxidation on the butt plate. The wood furniture is excellent with only minor handling marks here and there. Mint bore.
