12/17/21 – This is a very nice example of a scarce 1921-dated DWM Luger issued to the Weimar-Era German police. The gun is all matching except for the rear toggle pin. It has retained about 93% of its bluing. There are areas of wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, on the side rails, and a small spot at the base of the front strap. Very minor thinning on the sides of the barrel. A few tiny dots of oxidation around the muzzle and on the barrel. There is a small area of discoloration on the front strap and very minor pin-pricking on both grip straps. Comes with very nice un-numbered wood grips – the left panel is slightly worn. Also comes with a WW2-era “Eagle 63”-proofed magazine. The bore has strong rifling with minor frosting in some of the grooves.
