11/4/22 – This is an excellent example of a scarce 1921-dated DWM Luger issued to the German police force during the Weimar Era. It is all matching and has Weimar-era police proofs on the right side of the slide. It has an added police sear safety and magazine safety, both intact. There is a crossed-out “S.V.D. xxx” police unit marking on the front strap. From research, we understand this the represent the Schutzpolizei of Oberhausen. The gun has retained about 95% of its bluing with minor spotty wear on the front strap and areas of very minor wear on the side plate, very front edges of the side rails, and a hint of wear around the muzzle. Comes with excellent un-numbered wood grips (fit the gun perfectly) and a matching police arsenal-numbered magazine. The bore is like-new.
