2/4/21 – This is a beautiful and hard to find 1917 Navy DWM Luger with the original matching magazine! There were only 15,000 of these 1914 variation Lugers produced in 1917, and this one falls in the proper serial range. The original finish rates in the high 90s with only minor muzzle and high edge wear. The only noteworthy flaw is that the stock lug has been somewhat shaved down for unknown reason. The matching magazine is in great shape with crisp markings. Grips are properly unnumbered, and seem original to the gun based off the fit. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. Small parts still show 50-70% straw, though there is some patination.
