1/10/24 – This is a nice example of a Savage Model 1899 lever action rifle, manufactured in 1923 and chambered in .250 Savage. This one is all matching and has retained roughly 70% of its original finish. The majority of the wear is on the receiver, and there is light spotty brown patina throughout. The wood furniture is excellent with only a few minor scratches and handling marks. The bore has good rifling with very light frosting throughout.
