11/20/20 – This is a very nice and all original example of an M1 Carbine as produced in 1943 by Saginaw. Correct Saginaw proofed parts throughout, including barrel/receiver/stock. Only about 8.5% of the total M1 Carbine production was done by the Saginaw based plant. The finish on the metal parts is excellent overall with just one patch of thinning and freckling on the barrel to mention. The stock has several dings and nicks but no cracks or major chips. Excellent bore. Comes with period sling.
