5/11/22 – This is an original SA dagger with original scabbard and leather hanger. The hanger is RZM stamped on the metal clip, and maker stamped by OLC. The metal fastening ring is also RZM M5/71 stamped on the edge of the ring. The dagger blade is in good condition with some mild oxidation, mostly around the tip. There’s some surface discoloration in the “Alles fur Deutschland” inscription as well as discoloration in various other small spots. The maker stamp is crisp and the cross graining is evident throughout the blade. The wood handle has no cracks or chips. The hand guard has a “M” group designation stamp. The scabbard is brown anodized metal with surface patina throughout but no dents or major issues.
