5/31/23 – This is an original WW2 production SA dagger by Pfeilringwerk. The dagger is in excellent overall condition with a very clean blade. The blade shows cross graining throughout and crisp “Alles fur Deutschland” inscription and maker marking. There’s some mild scabbard rub wear and speckling in a few small areas on the blade as shown. The cross guards are non-magnetic nickel and in great condition, with a “S” Gruppe stamp on the lower cross guard. The wood grip is in great condition, but there’s some minor chipping at the top of the handle near the SA emblem. The backside has a hairline crack and similar mild chipping near the pommel as well. The earlier variation brown anodized scabbard has typical surface patina and light wear but no major issues. The original leather hanger is unmarked.
