6/3/24 – This is an original WW2 production German SA Dagger. The dagger comes with an original brown anodized scabbard and leather belt hanger. The dagger is all original and features a great condition blade maker stamped by C.G. Haenel on one side of the base. The other side of the blade has an “Alles fur Deutschland” inscription. Clean, shiny finish with honest scabbard rub wear and surface scratches but no major issues. Inscription and markings are crisp and distinct. The backside of the blade has a few small areas of spotty oxidation and surface discoloration. No rust or pitting. The cross guards are nickel plated zinc (2nd variation) and show light surface patina and natural age wear, but no major issues. The backside of the lower cross guard is “Sa” Gruppe stamped. Tight fit with no wiggle or play. The wood handle has a few light dings and natural handling wear but no cracks or chips. The scabbard is in great shape with some light surface scratches and blemishes but no dents worth noting. The leather hanger is in good overall shape. Additionally, this dagger comes with a signed letter of authenticity from eMedals, issued to the previous owner.
