4/8/21 – This is a rare, early manufacture SA Dagger with a ground Rohm. Likely ground at the factory, as were most daggers that still have the full Eickhorn logo. The dagger blade is marked with an early double oval Eickhorn squirrel. Some mild surface blemishes and typical rub / scabbard marks. Nice cross-graining and some very small spots of dark oxidation. The handle has nice wood with no cracks or chips. The scabbard has an engraving to the winner of an SA Sports event. Excellence by the SA Gruppe Thüringen in the competition of 1938. Excellent paint on the scabbard with no dents or dings. Also has an excellent leather hanger that is RZM marked. Included with this dagger is a letter by Thomas Wittmann attesting to the specifications of the dagger, with signed photos.
