8/15/22 – This is an original RZM SA Dagger with an original scabbard and hanger. The dagger blade is in good condition with a RZM maker code on one side “M7/1” which corresponds to Christianswerk. The blade edge is unsharpened, but there is surface patina and mild oxidation throughout each side of the blade. There are areas with slightly darker discoloration and some small areas of surface pin-pricking but this isn’t quite yet pitting. The inscriptions are still crisp and clearly visible. The hand guard and pommel both display similar surface patina and dark discoloration with corrosion near where the wood handle meets the metal. The handle is in great shape despite having one very small chip in the top left corner near the “SA” emblem. The scabbard is missing one screw at the mouth, as shown, and is otherwise in excellent condition. Comes with a leather hanger that’s maker stamped “RZM M5/71 OLC”.
