6/7/22 – This is a WW2 production German NSKK Dagger. The dagger comes with an original scabbard, which has a black anodized metal finish. The black has faded and aged, leaving a dark brown colored patina throughout the body of the scabbard. The toe of the scabbard is bent. The dagger blade is in great condition with very nice cross graining and a RZM maker code by Gottlieb Hammesfahr. There is some mild patina and small spots of speckling on the blade. No signs of sharpening. The handle has a few small chips in the wood near the pommel – see photos.
