1/23/23 – This is an original WW2 German NSKK Dagger. The dagger comes with an original scabbard and leather hanger. The dagger blade is in great overall condition despite some significant splotchy marks of discoloration. Despite this surface wear and discoloration, the blade still shows excellent cross-graining and minimal scabbard rub wear. The edges have no signs of sharpening nor tampering. The blade is Alles fur Deutschland inscribed and RZM maker etched on the other side. The crossguard and pommel are nickel plated fittings and have some mild surface wear and typical patina. The wood handle has no cracks or chips. The scabbard has excellent black paint, but the tip of the scabbard has some rust colored patina and surface wear as shown. The leather hanger is maker stamped by Assmann with a RZM designation stamp as well.
