8/20/24 – This is a very nice example of a Rock-Ola M1 Carbine from 1943-44. A complete list of parts and markings is included in the photos. It is import marked on the barrel with an “IGKNO 0707” marking near the trigger guard. This one has an adjustable rear sight – Some speculate that the adjustable rear sight is correct for this serial range, others believe it wasn’t used until much later (the six million range). It has retained about 95% of its finish with general high edge wear and muzzle wear. The wood shows minor bruising and scratching throughout. A number “1015” has been stamped on most of the parts, including the stock. Mint bore. Comes with a canvas sling, oiler, and one magazine.
