3/28/24 – This is a Robert Johnson Model 1863 flintlock pistol from 1843, chambered in .54 Caliber. The breech is marked “US / JH / P”. Two military cartouches on the left side of the wood. The lock reads “US / R. Johnson / Midd Conn / 1843”. This is a flintlock re-conversion. Excellent condition overall with minty wood. The bore is nice for its age, but there is light spotty surface oxidation. Fully functional. Missing flint stone.
