6/20/24 – This is a very nice example of a “VoPo” police luger, reworked by the East Germans after WW2. Originally made by DWM in the 1920’s. Issued to the police, as evidenced by the unit marking on the front strap, and it was tapped for a police sear safety. Waffen proof on the right side of the slide. It is mostly matching, but some of the small parts are mismatched. It was also refinished at the arsenal. There is very little finish loss, but there are some tiny pits under the finish here and there. Fitted with the proper concentric circle VoPo grips. Comes with a matching police arsenal-numbered magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is very light pin-pricking throughout.
