9/29/21 – This is an excellent example of a Luger with an interesting history. As evidenced by the Imperial proofs on the right side of the slide, it began its life when it was issued to the Imperial German military during WW1. It was then likely issued to the German police force, as evidenced by an added magazine safety that has been repaired and is now barely visible. It also received an unknown unit marking the front strap. It was then captured by the Finnish military during WW2 and reworked. It received a new Tikka-made 4.75″ barrel and given “SA” Finnish proofs. It is all matching except for the barrel. This gun was then professionally restored by “LugerMan”. As a result, it has a beautiful look to it. It has retained virtually all of its new bluing. It comes with excellent wood replacement grips and two aftermarket luger magazines. Mint bore.
