9/1/20 – This is a rare Retired Luftwaffe Pilot’s Badge made by C.E. Junker. The badge is one piece construction with a silver wreath. There is some light edge wear / patina around the wreath, as is expected, but the silvering is mostly in tact. The reverse is maker stamped with a functional pin in excellent condition. Non-magnetic assembly. We are not sure of the authenticity of this badge. Please inspect photos carefully. We’ve received feedback that there are gaps between the lets of the eagle which is not correct. However we’ve also heard speculation that the gaps are fine for later variation medals, but we are NOT experts and not sure…
