8/9/21 – This is an excellent example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 Rig issued to the US military in 1943. The gun is all correct and has the proper cross canon military cartouche and “United States Property” marking. High Standard barrel. The rig comes with a nice US-marked period-correct holster and a proper WW2-era magazine. The gun has retained about 97% of its parkerized finish. There is very minor wear along the high edges of the slide. Some areas of spotty oxidation/discoloration here and there, most noticeable on the left side of the frame and right side of the slide. A few tiny pits on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent grips. Minty bore.
