3/28/2023 – This is a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in early 1944. It is “United States Property” marked, has the proper “FJA” inspection stamp, and has a cross-cannon military cartouche on the right side of the frame. Proper High Standard barrel. The gun has retained about 94-95% of its original parkerized finish. There is some spotty wear in a few areas along the top of the slide, and mild thinning on the grip safety and front strap. Excellent bore and original grips with sharp checkering. Comes with period-correct “Little” magazine.
