7/29/22 – This is a Remington 1911A1 from late 1943. It’s US military inspected and issued, with proper third variation slide. The finish on the slide is in very good condition with minor high wear, and is the original parkerized finish. The frame has been reparkerized though, and the crossed cannons cartouche is mostly washed out now. Proper HS barrel. ‘S’ marked magazine. Bore is generally shiny with strong rifling.
