4/11/22 – This is an original WW1 era production Remington M1917 bayonet with an original scabbard. The bayonet blade has some surface oxidation and dark patina throughout each side, as shown. The edge is in great condition with no signs of sharpening. The base of the blade is Remington maker stamped, 1917 dated, and US ordnance stamped. Excellent wood grip panels. The metal portion of the hilt has surface rust throughout. Comes with an original scabbard that’s in great overall condition and maker stamped by Jewell, as well as 1917 dated.
