11/16/22 – This is an original Remington M1913 bayonet from WW1. The bayonet blade is in great condition with some dark areas of surface oxidation on each side. The edge shows some mild use wear and a few small chips or imperfections. The ricasso is US stamped with a flaming bomb on one side, and Remington 1913 stamped on the other side with a “9 17” date for September 1917 production. The hand guard and pommel have some spotty surface patina and a few small spots of rust mixed within the blued finish. The wood grips have no cracks or chips. Comes with a British style Enfield scabbard, stamped “RE” on the metal fitting near the mouth.
