4/11/19 – This is a Remington 1911A1 that was part of the Government National Match reworks package. It has a Remington military frame from 1945, with SA (Springfield Armory) rework proof on frame. If features further National Match characteristics such as the rear sight, and the slide and barrel were stamped with the final four digits of the frame serial. The slide is also Remington, and the parts are all paired together then parkerized, leaving an excellent finish on this pistol to pair with a terrific bore. Only minor thinning on the front strap. Excellent wood grips. C-R marked magazine.
