12/3/22 – This is a beautiful Remington 03-A4 sniper rifle from 1944. It has the proper receiver with offset maker mark and serial number to avoid being covered by the scope mounts and the proper barrel as front sights were never added to original 03-A4 snipers. The rifle comes with a P.K.W. 1944 dated sling in excellent condition and an excellent Weaver M73B1 scope. The optics are very clear and the reticle is crisp. The stock is in gorgeous condition with no notable defects. The stock has a “p in circle” marking on the wrist and “RA” and “FJA” markings on either side of a cross-cannon cartouche on the left side. The bore is shiny with strong rifling but has a small patch of minor freckling near the muzzle.
